Intra-Oral Camera
We use the Intra-Oral camera for early detection of dental problems to prevent any pain or discomfort.
The instrument is a tiny digital camera that can be easily moved around your mouth that allows the dentist to see cracks in old silver fillings or fractures in the tooth that can't be seen by the naked eye.
The images produced are projected onto a flat screen television and pictures of your teeth can be printed.
Laser Cavity Detection- DIAGnodent
Sometimes it can be difficult for the dentist to locate and diagnose cavities, especially those that are located in the pits and grooves on the biting surfaces of the back teeth.
The Diagnodent scans your teeth with harmless pulses of light that bounces back to the sensor and tells when a cavity is present.
Because this can tell us when there is very small amounts of decay, it's easier to repair. What's more, it's much less expensive for you.
Digital X-Rays
Digital Radiography allows doctors to discontinue use of regular x-rays in many cases.
