Bright Future Scholarship
Bright Side Dental is proud to offer the Bright Future Scholarship Program to assist local high school students obtain a college education.
Applicants must be graduating seniors with 3.0 cumulative grade point averages or higher and be involved in extracurricular activities. Qualified applicants must live within the Bright Side Dental service areas of Sterling Heights, Royal Oak, Livonia, Southfield, St. Clair Shores and Canton, Michigan.
In 2013, each applicant will be required to complete a one page essay in response to the topic: If you were going into the dental professsion, what do you think the best personal qualities of a dentist should be and what would you do to make your patients feel comfortable?
Essays were judged by a panel of dental health professionals and were based upon the students ability to write standard English, the quality of ideas presented, and the extent of relevant examples included.
The deadline to submit essays was April 30th 2013.
