Bright Future Scholarship
Bright Side Dental is proud to offer the Bright Future Scholarship Program to assist local high school students obtain a college education.
We would like to congratulate our 2011 winners; Hannah G of Salem High school in Canton and Sarah L of Royal Oak High School.
Applicants were graduating seniors with 3.0 cumulative grade point averages or higher and had to be involved in extracurricular activities. Qualified applicants lived within the Bright Side Dental service areas of Sterling Heights, Royal Oak, Livonia, and Canton Michigan.
Each applicant was required to complete a one page essay in response to the topic: Explain the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene and how poor dental hygiene can affect your overall health.
Essays were judged by a panel of dental health experts and two students were selected to receive a $500 scholarship.
Essays had to be submitted by April 15th 2011.
We encourage all graduating seniors to apply in 2012 for your chance to become our next Bright Future Scholarship Winner!
