Nancy Beckman, RNC CRNA MS
Ms. Beckman studied Nursing at Mercy college of Detroit and graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After working as a staff Registered Nurse, nursing instructor and intensive care nurse in the Detroit Medical Center for fifteen years, she pursued a career in anesthesia and received a Masters of Science in Anesthesia from Wayne State University in 1987.
While working as a staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in a large suburban hospital, Ms. Beckman offered services to dental offices in the area. This practice grew to the formation of her company, Precept Anesthesia Services, Inc, which was formed in 1995. The company now serves over thirty dentists in fifteen offices in southeastern Michigan, and is the only anesthesia business dedicated to serving dental offices.
Ms. Beckman is a dynamic professional in the field of nurse anesthesia. She currently sits on both the registration committee for the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists and on the peer assistance committee for the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
Ms. Beckman has lectured extensively in her field. Her talents, caring and enthusiasm have made great contributions to patients, students and colleagues. Ms. Beckman enjoys full clinical privileges at all hospitals where she practices.
She is certified by the AANA, ANA and AHA and is licensed in both Michigan and Florida.
