Advanced Dental Technology

Drs. Gershonowicz, Neme & Associates utilize the newest dental technologies and techniques in order to make your visit to the dentist more convenient and comfortable. They strive to provide their patients with the best and most up-to-date and modern care.

Intra-Oral Camera
Drs. Gershonowicz, Neme and Associates know that the key to good dental health is early detection of dental problems to prevent any pain or discomfort. We use a helpful piece of equipment to aid us in providing you with the best possible dental care. The Intra-Oral camera is a tiny digital camera that looks like a pen and can be easily moved around your mouth. The images of your teeth are projected onto a television screen and can be frozen and a picture of your teeth can be printed. The benefit of the intra-oral camera is that it allows the dentist to see cracks in old silver fillings or fractures in the tooth structure and enamel that could not be seen by the naked eye. Please ask for more information.

Laser Cavity Detection
Preventative dentistry is key to having healthy teeth and gums for your lifetime. Drs. Gershonowicz and Neme believe that early detection of decay is key to maintaining a healthy smile. One great piece of dental technology used by Drs. Gershonowicz, Neme and Associates is the Diagnodent. It is a laser cavity detection system that allows the dentist to find decay before it can be seen by the naked eye or felt with a dental instrument. The Diagnodent is a pen-like probe that is passed along your teeth. It sends a signal to the dentist if decay is detected beneath the surface. The Diagnodent is a great help in early cavity detection. Please ask for more information.
