Dental Restorations
Although you might be diligent about brushing and flossing, you still may get a cavity. When caught early, a cavity can usually be filled easily. But if it has progressed, you may need a crown. If an infection has set in, a root canal might be necessary.
We don’t want you to let dental restorations scare you, however. We use a local anesthetic for all our procedures, and we also offer sedation dentistry, because we want all our patients to be comfortable.
Wisdom Tooth Removal
Many of our patients require wisdom tooth removal, either because these teeth have become impacted or for one of many other reasons. A common problem with wisdom teeth is that if allowed to come in, they crowd the other teeth, pushing them out of alignment. If you had orthodontic work, allowing wisdom teeth to come in can undo the results you achieved.
We use general anesthesia for wisdom tooth removal, so you won’t feel a thing — you won’t even remember having the procedure!
